The valley, at your own pace
Ourika can be a lazy lunch by the river or a proper walk up to the seven waterfalls of Setti Fatma — we plan it around what you feel like on the day. In winter the peaks above the valley hold snow while you sit in the sun below, which is one of the more startling things about this place.

Good to know
- The path to the first waterfall is rocky and crosses the river — trainers or walking shoes are needed.
- The valley is noticeably cooler than the city; bring a layer outside high summer.
- Monday is the valley souk at Tnine Ourika, worth timing your visit for.
- After heavy rain the river can rise quickly; your guide will adapt the route.
